  1. Savor those precious moments. They will be over before you know it. Apparently you do. Thanks for sharing. Your post brought back happy memories of special times with my kids!

    1. I’m so glad it brought back memories for you Betsy. I admit that this was a self-indulgent, savor this moment post, so I wasn’t sure if it would resonate with anyone besides me. Thank you for sharing that it did, and for the reminder to soak it up while I can.

  2. What a beautiful post–and what wonderful parents you and your husband are! I miss my little girls (who are both young women now); one of my fondest memories was a day they made banners and signs professing their love and brought me the first breakfast they’d ever cooked. As you wrote, “These days are what it’s all about.”

  3. ๐Ÿ™‚ my boys don’t sleep with me anymore (“gross” is the word used when such a concept was suggested in a hotel room recently), but my favorite memory of my youngest, now a tweener, is when he was about 10 months? 11 months? old and he figured out how to “kiss” somebody, not just the open mouth gooey love slobber of a little baby but a neat little “peck” and we were lying in bed together after nursing and he kissed me from the crown of my head down my face, neck, shoulders, arms, legs (especially the kneecaps), shins, feet. A savory moment indeed! Thanks for this post — wonderful memory trigger.

    1. Awww! I guess one day our son won’t want to sleep with me either. But we always have those baby days, right? I love your memory, which triggers others for me. Love open mouth gooey baby love slobber ๐Ÿ™‚
