Cloud with rainbow over Gulf of Mexico. Anna Maria Island, FL.

Clouds are my favorite thing about Florida. They are the part I miss most after living there, and the part I love most when we visit. I thought I’d share some with you here. Enjoy.

  1. Agreed. I reside in Central Florida and there’s never a shortage of beautiful skies. Even despite the sometimes terrible humidity, it’s a constant battle between clear and gray, storm clouds ready to burst. Wonderful pictures!

    • They are fascinating! They are always different, and the way they catch sunlight mesmerizes me. I can watch the clouds for hours.

    • Thanks Jean. I don’t know what I’d do without the camera on my phone – probably not have any cloud pictures to share.

    • Tricia, they are beautiful. When we come to Florida I sit on the beach and watch them build. It’s even better than bird- or people-watching.

  2. Clouds and water – my two favourite things to capture on my camera; maybe that’s because I live in the usually sunny island of Barbados! But your clouds were just magical and I particularly loved the photo with the little rainbow peeking through – that shot was awesome 🙂

  3. Your photos are awesome. For some reason, I’m absolutely mesmerized by clouds. They are just absolutely beautiful.
