  1. This feels like “you are carrying” ! Here’s some ideas drawn from my work case:

    an expired library card

    a receipt for flowers

    cotton swabs

one-half of a pair of scissors

  2. Robin’s egg blue

    Shuttered windows

Raindrops falling on your head from tree leaves as you continue to sketch…

Just off the top of my head… Hope they might be useful. πŸ™‚

  3. Spring
    Read between the lines

There’s a spring storm here at the moment. I love what it does with the lines in my drawings. New ways to explore, a bit frightening and exciting too.

  4. Okay, Andrea, here goes:

‘I took the road less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference.’ From ‘The Road Not Taken’ by Robert Frost.

  5. Counterfeit. Also when I’m stuck I try to think of a strange collection of items in a shopping cart or a suitcase and what they could be used for all together (and the person who uses them).

  6. Tom Cox wrote a lovely piece in The Guardian recently on how a country walk can surround you with words more inspiring to the writing mind than the sort of thing you’re likely to be sitting amongst at home:
So with this in mind, how about some words from my part of the world –
    kissing gate
    dry-stone wall

  8. What a great idea! Promt Box is pretty genius on it’s own, let alone a 10 minute writing session. Thank you for allowing others’ ideas to inspire you!

-morning whiskers (pertaining to a dog)
    -light of life
    -a feeling of euphoria
-how traffic was the death of me

  9. Gravity
    Smoke in the sky
    Bird seed
A rocking chair and a cats tail

Love your prompt & writing daily idea. Such discipline and structure seems more than I can sustain for more than a week. Kudos to you for staying with it.

  10. Just love the idea ‘call for prompts’. I think I will copy this from you on my blog. Would love to write short stories. πŸ™‚
