A quieter Miami

When my husband and I traveled to Miami Beach this summer, we took a trip into the city to find the Barnacle State Park, a tiny tropical oasis in Coconut Grove, where Ralph Middleton Munroe, a pioneer and one of Miami’s earliest settlers, built a house on Biscayne Bay. It’s a lovely site.

  1. Gorgeous. Absolutely love nature photos, nature walk, trails…especially someplace like this because I’ve never been to Miami. That tree snail is actually so beautiful. I love the colors on its shell.

  2. The Barnacle is one of my favorite places. My friend is the park manager there and always hosts wonderful events throughout the year.
