I’ve arrived in Maine!

  1. Ooh ooh. I bet you’ve read it already, but I love The Cider House Rules. It’s more of a fall book, though.

(Also enjoyed Olive Kitteridge, and Empire Falls is one of my favorites. Most of the other Maine-based books I’ve read are by Stephen King!)

  2. Wow, I live in Maine!
I haven’t read anything from Maine authors yet, but I have a few books that are set in Maine by Maine authors.

    1. Composted Tyrant by Janet Morgan
    2. Death in Acadia and Death by Crystal by Agnes Bushell
    3. Shadows on the Coast of Maine by Lea Wait
    4. Country Living Country Dying by Able Jones

    I like murder mystery novels.

  3. Olive Kittredge was wonderful. Orphan Train is set in Maine and features a character who is Native American though the author is white.

Stephen King’s books are often set in Maine but they’re not exactly cozy. 😉
