Unexpected joy

I took advantage of the warmish weather today and went for a mid-afternoon run. As I panted up a hill in a community nature park nearby, I saw this Charlie Brown Christmas tree all dressed up by the side of the path. It gave me a little jolt of joy. I love the thought of someone decorating this little tree, smiling to themselves as they think about all the others it will surprise into a smile.
