  1. This is so beautiful, Andrea. What an epiphany! And while you must shelve that dream for awhile, you know that your new job will help make that dream life possible again down the road. xoxo

  2. What a beautiful story, and wonderful outlook on your decisions to be home and back at work. Thank you for putting it all into words. i would feel the same way being home, and too have gone back to work in the mornings…..all we need is OUR OWN permission to live a life that makes each of us happy in our own way. Thank You for sharing!

  3. I am a stay at home mom too. I, too, have a college degree and yet I chose to be a stay at home mom and wife. I also love the “quietness” in the morning. I so love your post… Thank you for this, cause I know that I am not the only one who chose to be a stay at home mom. Good for you that you were able to find a job, as the way I understood it, a part time.

    1. Thank you Grech. I didn’t last long at the job (I have a later post called “I quit my job” that tells that story), and am now loving my full time stay at home mom role. The job helped me appreciate it. I’m happy this resonated with you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
