That is indeed gorgeous. I am very hesitant to listen to anything in such a setting. I feel like it detaches me too much from my surroundings.
Hi Thomas! You’re right – I am sometimes detached because I’m listening to podcasts. On really pretty days I’ll walk ears open, or there’s a bench I sometimes stop and sit on where I take my headphones off and listen to the wind.
Speaking of wind blowing fields of grain, I read an Amish romance the other day that was filled with bread baking and putting up jam, and it made me think of you and your love for housekeeping details in books. Thanks for stopping by – I enjoyed your latest Readers 🙂
